Vendor Management - Technology RFPs
In technology RFPs, while the people supporting the deployment are important, there is greater emphasis on features requirements. This often necessitates a much longer, and more specific, list of attributes (aka business and technical requirements).
For this reason, Ops in a Box, Legal Edition includes a capabilities worksheet for candidates to fill out. As with all Ops in a Box, Legal Edition, spreadsheet-based templates, a native format version is included so you can customize the template for your project.
For each feature, the multiple choice options range from standard function in preferred manner to not provided with several shades in between along with a field for explanation. This aids clear cut response and reduces equivocating significantly.
In the Ops in a Box version the provider response is defined to be attached to the agreement as an Exhibit encouraging the respondent to provide a response to which the company can contractually adhere.
