Strategic Plan, Part 2: Present Findings

As noted last week, for an Operations Launch Check List, many of the actions are equally valuable for an annual refresh, or for aligning with new leadership. Last week we reviewed Step #1 "Learn the Lay of the Land."

Step #2 on the Operations Launch Check List is to Present Findings.  Align with the CLO and/or GC on the roadmap.  Find common ground. Work through your differences. Illustrate the value of being included. Create your three year roadmap focusing on no more than 3 key opportunities. 

And don’t stop after your initial presentation. Give quarterly updates to the full department. Illustrate the value of being included.  Maintain a transparent working list of future projects in consideration.
