Sprinting Through Midtown: What I Caught (and Missed) at CLOC Academy and BLC

For the Legal Ops obsessed, Tuesday in NYC was an abundance of difficult choices.

🏃Do I attend CLOC Academy 101 for a fast-paced sprint through the entire CLOC Core 12?
🏃Do I head over to @Buying Legal Council for the latest in AI (and other legal trend) benchmarking, accountability, and translation to budget strategy and legal work pricing?
🤿 Do I stay for the CLOC 201 deep dive into legal services programs and legal tech?

Of course, I tried to do it all.

After co-teaching CLOC Academy 101 and sitting in on a highly entertaining and informative legal service provider sourcing session with a Glinda-Elphaba theme, I sprinted over to BLC in time to catch the final two sessions, which thoughtfully addressed sourcing AI and the shifting relationships with more traditional legal services providers.

Evidently, I pushed myself too hard. I woke Wednesday morning with a crushing sinus headache and had to miss the much-anticipated BLC Day 2. 😢

🤝 My takeaway: conflicting events happen, but it's great when our ecosystem collaborates to offer more without stretching the audience too thin.
