NEW PLI Book - Running Legal Like a Business: The Fundamentals of Legal Operations for Law Departments

Coming out this month is a book I have been very much looking forward to reading, Running Legal Like a Business: The Fundamentals of Legal Operations for Law Departments, published by PLI Press.

I was honored that the esteemed authors, Connie Brenton and Susan Raridon Lambreth, offered me an opportunity to expand upon the brief history of legal operations included in Ops in a Box, Legal Edition for inclusion. And I am thankful to legal ops luminaries Suzanne Hawkins, Jeff Isaacs, Paul Roy, and Connie, for sharing their considerable knowledge for the chapter.  

Now that I finally see the list of chapter authors, including Pratik Patel, Peter Eilhauer, Gary Sangha, Andrew Banquer, Nicholas (Nik) Reed, and Deborah Brightman Farone among others, I feel like a kid at Christmas. During my year-end vacation, I know what I'll be reading in preparation for 2022.
